Marshall, IL Senior Portrait Photographer: Studio E Reps for 2011-12

This year I am blessed to have three hardworking individuals representing Studio E as senior portrait representatives. The Kassies (Grooms and Smith) are the Marshall High School reps and Leslie Cates is the Paris Cooperative High School rep. Kassie G. is a volleyball and softball player for the Lady Lions, and Kassie Smith is a senior member of the cheerleading squad. Leslie is a basketball player for the Paris High School Lady Tigers. These young ladies will have coupons available for seniors interested in having professional-quality senior portraits done at Studio E. The coupon is good for 24 wallets with a paid senior portrait session. Studio E also offers the added incentive of 10% off for those who purchase their photos within 2 weeks of the date that their proofs are uploaded to their online gallery. St. Louis Engagement Session by Studio E Photography: Adam + Nicole

I had a really fun engagement session recently with Adam and Nicole! I’ve known Adam since he was in high school and have always enjoyed his sense of humor and fun-loving nature. He contacted me last spring to ask me to photograph his destination wedding next year in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Since Nicole is from Collinsville and Adam is originally from Marshall, IL, we decided to give each location equal time for their engagement session. Adam whisked me off to St. Louis early on a Saturday morning, where we got some great shots around Busch Stadium and the Arch. The next day, we did another session in Marshall, at Lincoln Trail State Park. Here are a few of the images from both sessions:

Paris, Illinois Wedding: Lyndsey + Derek by Studio E Photography

I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Lyndsey Brown and Derek Norman on June 25th. Lyndsey is a native of Paris, Illinois, who relocated to Tennessee after she graduated from college. She met Derek there, and they soon fell in love. Lyndsey and Derek share a love of horses, so they decided to incorporate that love into the theme of their wedding. Lyndsey rode to the ceremony site, a beautiful rural pond, on horseback. Not only did she ride the horse wearing her wedding gown, she also rode sidesaddle! The antique sidesaddle was an Ebay acquisition which was just one of many lovely details that made their day so special.

Welcome to my new blogsite! I decided it was time to streamline my online presence, and this was the best of all possible worlds. There are galleries that showcase the body of my work and sections that provide information to potential clients. And, best of all, I can post updated work on an ongoing basis!
